Dr. Krista Wells was born and raised in Mississippi where she got her B.S. in Nutrition from The University of Mississippi.  After that,  she went to Mississippi State for her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree.
In case you don't know, these are rival schools and I caught a lot of flack from my family when I switched, but I have  always been an Ole Miss fan and still cheer the Rebels on through every football season. I met my husband when I was 15 and after a 2 year split in college we reunited and have been married since 2013.  In my spare time I enjoy doing anything outdoors. I've been a long distance runner for years and can say running is my true passion. I enjoy biking and doing the occasional triathlon.

Dr. Rachel Hooper was born and raised on the East Coast in Delaware and New Jersey. She has always had a passion for animals and the sciences, and prior to veterinary school pursued a Masters Degree in Animal Science at the University of Maryland in 2012. For veterinary school, Rachel was thrilled to move to beautiful Colorado and graduate from CSU.  She is even more excited to be able to stay in Colorado and continue to explore the natural beauty and adventure that the state has to offer. In her free time, Rachel enjoys playing board games and spending time in the outdoors camping and hiking with her fiancé Andy and her Australian Shepherd, Tali. Her pet family also includes an adventurous cat named Don Quixote.

Dr. Tim Kretzschmar is a 2012 graduate of Free University of Berlin, Germany. Following vet school he took the opportunity to pursue a doctoral degree in small animal clinical research at Texas A&M. It was there that he met his wife, whom he followed to Colorado in 2015. His professional interests include everything related to companion animal medicine in general and surgery in particular.   As a fan of the outdoors Dr. Tim is convinced that time off is best spent fishing, hunting, working on a car or riding motorcycles. He’s also been known to enjoy a good wine or Bourbon on occasion. His wife and him share their home with Willie the Cat, whom they lazily refer to as Kitty most of the time.

Dr. Karen Coriden received her B.S. in Biology from Grinnell College in Iowa and her D.V.M. from the University of Illinois in 1976. Her pet family includes 3 dogs—"Sophie", "Whitney", and "Veda", and 8 cats. Karen has a special interest in geriatric medicine, feline medicine, as well as dentistry, and exotic animal medicine and surgery. Karen lives in Evergreen with her husband Mike, and has three daughters. Outside of veterinary medicine, Karen enjoys spending time with family, reading, and gardening.
